Our guide was Izabella, who was very passionate about Verona and this came across really well during the tour. She was very thorough in relating the history of the city and had a good sense of humour. Would thoroughly recommend this tour as a way of finding out as much as possible about Verona in the space of two hours!

I would recommend this walking tour to anyone who wants to cover most of the highlights of Verona in a couple of hours. Our guide was passionate about her city and had great insight into many aspects of the tour. She had great communication skills and was very helpful with regards to information requests outside of the scope of the tour.

Two treasures: Verona and Irene (our guide)

Verona is a "must see," if you're not just trying to hit all the major Italian cities: Rome, Naples, Florence and Venice. It's town for walking, with historic churches, towers, arenas & theaters, gardens and fountains, etc. around every corner. Irene, our charming guide, did not just show us the normal touch points, she took us "shopping" into the basement of a clothing store to see parts of a Roman villa next to men's underwear, to an upscale restaurant in Piazza Erbe to visit parts of a Roman temple under their wine cellar. She regaled us with stories of Verona's extensive past and shattered some of the myths of Shakespeare's version of "Romeo and Juliet." Two hours worth more than the price.

We had a lovely and very knowledgeable guide called Priscilla. She took us to the main places of interest and gave us lots of insight into the long history of Verona. Priscilla is a local and her love of her city came across. It was paced just right in terms of walking speed and we would highly recommend this tour.

Irena was our tour guide and she was charming, a local and loved Verona, herself, and it showed. This is a wonderful tour to get an overview of Verona so you can see where you want to explore on your own. Irena was informative and I learned a lot, especially about the Juliette Balcony! I highly recommend this tour. There is a lot more to Verona than I realized and you get that on this tour. It was nicely paced.
