Plitvice Lakes small group tour from Split or Trogir (Included: Entry Ticket)

What a wonderful trip! If you are in Croatia this has to be on your list . I’ve traveled 65 countries and 5 continents and this is definitely in fop 5 most beautiful places . This company and also the guide and driver did an excellent job !!

Great guide with awesome local information throughout the day. Made sure everyone had time to take pictures and experience the sights at your own pace. Tony was funny and I would recommend that everyone ask for him.

Our tour guide Tony was informative with history and fun facts. Our driver, Andre, safely drove our small group of about 12 people. Plitvice is certainly one of mother nature's gems. Large national forest with what seem to be countless waterfalls, some very grand in volume of water to smaller falls allowing for a closer view. Impressive trails throughout the park lead throughout the park. The trails we took did not require hiking, simply walking, and observing the beauty and serenity of this experience. Viator offers a wonderful experience, at a reasonable price. Tony, our tour guide was gifted with relevant information. The experience was fun and I will cherish it for life!

Great tour! Having a guide made it so easy to navigate through the park and the restaurant we went to after the park served authentic, country-side Croatian food, exactly what we were looking for.

Toni and Andrej (hope this spelling is close) were great! I started out getting lost finding the pickup area because its in a forked intersection and the address comes up wrong in google maps if you search it...it is by the actual small bus parking lot though that has a gate. The tour company provided a custom google map but I clicked it late and it was confusing unless you zoom in a lot ...my fault. The ride there is long and it can be a bit hard leaving very early in the morning (necessary because of crowds) but it was scenic and there was a break at a roadway rest stop. If leaving from Split be prepared to be out before cafes and shops open. I did find some of the green market was open though so you can buy fruit... and i think there was a bakery with bad reviews on the riva open. Once at the park it was a very easy process. The tour company purchased tickets, distributed, and had jump the line access. Then you are inside the wonderful park! Toni had us do the recommended paths backwards so we didn't get stuck behind the huge tour groups that are in a single file line. He basically just told us to go at our own pace and keep right or left and followed the group ahead and behind us checking for everyone going the right way. It was very relaxed. We passed other large groups with guides yelling to keep moving and only take 1-2 photos in popular spots which we did not have to deal with. The only awkward downside was squeezing past the large groups on the narrow walkways over the water or waiting for them to pass I didn't find it to be insanely crowded though. The park itself is an easy walk although the rustic narrow boardwalk with no rail is a little questionable but also wonderful. No railings in the way of the view and it is maintained well. This is now my favorite national park I've been to because its so beautiful and comfortable to walk through the main trails (only a small portion of our route was a little uphill and it was like cobblestone). The way back we stopped at a casual outdoor bbq place (grill not sauce in case any Americans are wondering) that was optional to eat at but you could easily just hang out with the group there too or skip if not many people wanted to stay. Very thankful I picked this tour company!

Our guide was brilliant and helped us to avoid the queues and see the best of everything. He was also just a great guy all round ! Definitely worth paying for a tour rather than going on your own. This place lived up to my expectations and more!
