Pickup and drop off from centrally located Sorrento hotel/meeting point
Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Sorrento and head to the town's dock to meet your skipper for the boat ride over to the island of Capri. Set off with your small group, as Sorrento slowly disappears from your view. On the ride there, indulge in some snacks, such as sandwiches and beverages. Then take a short break at Marciano or Mitigliano to jump off of the boat to go swimming or snorkeling. 

Once on the island, say arrivederci to your skipper for a while as you'll have some free time to explore Capri as you wish. During your free time, perhaps go to the famed Blue Grotto or take the chairlift up to Monte Solaro for an incredible view. Perhaps sit down for a fresh seafood lunch or stroll around the Gardens of Augustus. All food, drinks, activities and entrance fees are your own expense.

When the time comes, head back to the designated meeting spot on the dock, board your boat and relax on the journey back to Sorrento.

Nothing beats a holiday boat cruise and this did not disappoint. A bit of a trek from our hotel to the harbour, but once we got there boarded the boat with no fuss. Great fun sitting at the front with the waves spashing down on us as we sped off towards Capri. The Guide was friendly and helpful, pointing out interesting land marks, the sandwich and beer went down a treat. When we landed at Capri, took refuge from the extreme heat and to help our friend recover from a bout of sea sickness. 30 euros for 4 cokes..I say no more . 4 stay on the island, still undecided if this was too long or not, given the expense of everything, however had a great swim in the sea. Return trip to Sorrento was excellent, with a stop off to swim in the sea with a beer. Great fun.

This tour would have gotten 5 stars if the lady working for the company on the phone was kind and helpful. She sent us the wrong place to meet the car to pick us up to take us to the marina and it was somehow our fault. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful. However, the boat itself was wonderful and we had a great experience. We would definitely recommend this tour to other people however the service should be improved.

The entire day was fabulous! The guides were great detailing the locations of interest around Capri. They spent the right amount of time at each place enabling everyone on the boat to capture pictures. Details of the trip were provided to inform and keep us on schedule. We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken to a marina about 15-20 minutes from Sorrento. Our captain and crew was fantastic with really great recommendations on what to do on the island. We took taxis and the funicular instead of the land tour that was offered and we enjoyed having our own time to explore. We would certainly take our friends or family on this tour again.

Outstanding fun tour guide, provided drinks, a few beers, actually good sandwiches, music. Allowed plenty of time to swim and go to all major caves. Initially thought the 7 hours aboard wouldn’t be enough, but in reality was perfect amount of time for outstanding value.

Our tour guide was really nice. Wasn’t a fan of the boat captain. Took us in a small area surrounded by boats to swim. Didn’t even go snorkeling, they were struggling to find life jackets and no one (not even the kids) were offered one when we got onto the boat. Snorkeling gear was not provided. Passed by the caves.. This felt more like a water taxi than anything. Sandwich was good but that’s about it. Not sure why this has raving reviews..

Dear customer, thank you for your reply. Very sad that you didn't enjoy the experience that is not only a water taxi but a boat experience. Unfortunately as you can imagine August is the crowdest period of the year so the sea is very busy but our captains try the best to give you the right spot for stop and swim. Life jackets are onboard as per procedure, we cannot even leave the port without them. Pls note that they're required for emergencies not for swimming, but if you ask for it you'll got it. Snorkeling equipment cannot be provided due to Covid restrictions but you can buy it directly onboard. We hope to welcome you back in the lower season to enjoy better the sea and the service. The blue grotto was inaccessible due to high tides - which certainly would have been known when tickets were sold. The guide then encouraged us to spend money with private buses to get access the town - but we discovered the funicular was available for only 2euros each. A beautiful tour of the island circumference but the rest was a let-down.

The weather wasn't ideal. It was overcast and raining off and all but that did not dampen the trip from Sorrento to Capri. Our captain and tour guide were both insightful, funny and knowledgable of the Capri and the surrounding areas. The downfall of this tour and why it garners 4 stars and not five has nothing to do with the captain or tour guide, but the dock area where the boats leave from. The dock is poorly managed, where you are treated like cattle being herded on and off boats. There is no announcement when your boat is ready to board, you just need to kinda "guess". To sum up, Tour = 5. Boat Launch, Dock personel = 3

Absolutely the best activity that we did while in Italy for 10 days. A must for sure! The tour hosts were great providing insight about the area and it's history, bringing us to to the great spots around the island to get an local experience and were very entertaining. Highly recommended.

Our best tour the whole trip!

We spent two weeks in Italy for our 5-year anniversary, and THIS was our best tour! I kept it a secret from my wife, and she was thrilled when I told her what I actually had planned for the day. Our captain, "Super" Mario, was funny and knew a lot of the area; a real party dude. After being taken through the garbage-strewn Bay of Naples (sorry, but it needs to be said: The Bay of Naples is filled with trash), we were given 4 hours of free time on Capri. When reconnecting back with Mario, he took us around the island to show us some of the caves. The Blue Grotto was off limits due to bad weather, but Mario still expertly steered the boat partway into the other caves like a skilled lover. After swimming for about a half hour, Mario gave us each a beer before taking us back to Sorrento. It was seriously an excellent day AND an excellent tour!
