  • If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women to enter the Sistine Chapel!
  • Please note that on the day of your visit certain areas of the monument/attraction can be closed due to either religious events or national holidays.
  • Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure this could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
  • Cancellations, changes or issues due to weather, security and events held by the monument are beyond our control and are directly decided by their administration team. These issues will be reviewed by us and dealt with on an individual basis but are the responsibility of the monument.
  • All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
  • The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependent on the monument/attraction’s administration offices availability and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
  • Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
  • Students booking a reduced ticket must have a photo ID; you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument.
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

The tour was very good - great leader who explained in depth what we were seeing. I am an art historian so am knowledgable about it and found her to be very very good. The weather was much too hot so that was a problem when we were outdoors - but the touring part of it was excellent.

Very disappointed with this tour as it NEVER happened! We booked and paid 5 days prior. Received confirmation emails and texts, all seemed great! Until we showed up at the office for our tour. We were told we weren't on their list and they didn't have tickets. They would refund and rebook another day. Except it was our ONLY day in Rome. They acted like refunding us was a favor...um hello!!! They insisted this never happens! I highly doubt that! They tried to accommodate us with a different time but we had other tours and while we were able to run thru for 30 min we missed St Peter's Basilica and many other things we looked forward to seeing. Very disappointed with this entire situation and again a refund for a tour we didn't get to take isn't a favor.

Great tour, the Vatican is a zoo, but fascinating, and totally worth seeing

We enjoyed this tour of the Vatican Museum, and really liked our tour guide Alfredo. The Vatican is a zoo, and it took us 30 minutes to get in, but that is true for all the tours. Ours was a small group of around 12 people, and the audio system worked well, and allowed us to hear Alfredo, even as our group got stretched out by the crowd. He was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, and was patient with all questions. Ours was a 2-hour tour, so we we’re moving pretty quickly as we worked our way toward the Sistine Chapel. But Alfredo had places we could stop and he could describe pieces, or some of the history. The tour ended after the Sistine Chapel, and then we pop out near St Peter’s Basilica, which we were free to then explore on our own. We would def recommend this tour, and would say NOT to tour the Vatican on your own, it is massive, very crowded, and probably hard to figure out. Very satisfying experience for us and our two teenage girls.

Not a ‘Small Group’ Our tour guide was very friendly and nice but difficult to understand. And the group size was much too big. It was also excruciatingly hot and there was very little shade. The check-in was very very easy and professional. It was easy to find and the staff was very friendly. Especially Islame.

Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. From the tour description, it’s easy to miss the fact that you have to pay an additional 23 Euros per person. This should have been included in the cost of the tour and not collected at the start. Also, the description indicates that the afternoon tour is not likely to be granted entrance to the Pantheon so we booked the morning tour. We didn’t get in. Also, our radios were over 19 minutes late. Not our guide’s fault but the company could do better.

Our tour was really so much better than we could’ve expected; mostly wanting to just get past the lines with a group, we got so much more. Deborah was an amazing tour guide, with a clear passion for the creativity of the genius artists that helped piece together what people flock to at the Vatican Museums, as well as the stories they lived during the times. She was also funny, personable, and carried a commanding aura about her that allowed our group to get right to the best spots for information and pictures — with a great respect for the rules of the Vatican as well. We really recommend this tour, but specifically with Deborah. There were moments during our tour that it felt like other people, in smaller more personable tours, seemed jealous of how much information our guide was passionately presenting us with. Thank you!

Gabriel was our guide and he was great! With the VIP tour, he was able to cut through so many lines and make detours to get us to areas of the museum, the Sistine chapel and St. Peter's basilica in a timely and efficient manner. We were fortunate that day that there were tapestries in the chapel that were only going to be there for a few days. Gabriel was able to answer all our questions and explain the hidden (and sometimes cheeky) details within the art. Go on this tour. It's money well spent and it beats having to wait on those long lines.
