Delicious time for a well-earned meal!

We had a great time during this cooking class. I enjoyed how even though it was a larger group of people we had not met before, we were all able to work together on our independent dishes. I enjoyed watching our chef correct our techniques and improve our knowledge. Most importantly, I now have a huge admiration for the skill (and arm muscles!) that is required to make pasta that not only tastes good, but also looks good too. Thank you!

Great Class - Great Experience!

Learning is always wonderful but when you can do so in a festive, fun, and memorable way it's even better. That's exactly what happened when our group of 4 firends attended this class in a private room at Tucci's Ristorante in Rome's Piazza Navona. Our instructor Maria was terrific. She very capably taught us how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu that I know I will be able to repeat back in Colorado! After we finished the class we adjourned to an outside table at Tucci's where we ate what we had prepared along with a suace of our choice and a glass of wine. We looked at a bunch of reviews before selecting Eat and Walk Italy. Glad we did!

This was a great class. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Our instructor (Caterina) was excellent, very patient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend taking this class with Caterina. It was the best $120 my wife and I spent. We got to make tiramisu and pasta from scratch then afterwards we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor with a nice glass of wine (included in the package).

Your review moves me and fills me with joy! I am delighted to be able to convey to you my love for Italian cuisine and my passion. I accept the sixth star you want to give me but only for the immense enthusiasm I read in your words! A thousand thanks

Lovely location, acceptable overall

We really enjoyed the overall experience of making this food and then eating outside along the piazza fountains and performers. It gets three stars because it was bumped 2 hours and then we were all ignored while we waited an additional 30 or so minutes after arriving (I would have bought water or wine). I also didn't like that they don't teach you about the sauce at all.

Unfortunately, in a city the size of Rome, delays can happen. However, each review is important precisely to learn and enrich ourselves. So, we will treasure what you said. However, I am very happy that you enjoyed the class and that you had fun!

Highlight of our trip!

I loved this so much. We had a lovely group and the chef explained everything clearly and slowly. We made tiramisu as a group and he made sure everyone got to do something. We then made our own pasta. I surprised myself and was actually quite good at it! We then all sat in the restaurant and ate our pasta and tiramisu with a glass of wine. Was a great evening. There were kids there too and I would say it was very child friendly and the chef was great with them

Amazing Experience in Rome!

We had a wonderful time in our workshop with Patrick and Alessandro! They were so helpful but also let us do the majority of the work, so eating our food after was so rewarding (and delicious). Just down the street from the Piazza di Spagna so it is easy to find/get to, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We had a small group of 6 and loved getting to know the other participants and working together to make the tiramisu. We sat in the restaurant afterwards eating our food and talking for several hours. We also got a glass of red wine and a shot of Limoncello with our dinner. Both my friend and I have spent lots of time in Rome beforehand (several months) so it was something new and exciting and ended up being one of our favorite things from this particular trip. Highly recommend.

This was so good. We started off making tiramisu as a group. Then we moved onto making our own pasta. The chef was fantastic and took time to explain how to make it all. At the end we sat with our lovely group and ate our pasta and tiramisu with a glass of wine.
