We should have just done this on our own. This "tour" is essentially transportation and tickets. Probably my fault for now researching more before booking. Anyway, the tour was transportation to Versailles. We got dropped off around 9am and were provided timed entry tickets for 930am. We were given two options for return to Paris - roughly noon or 5pm. Versailles is so large that returning on the noon shuttle is too soon, but 5pm felt too late. By about 2pm we were exhausted and ready to return to Paris so instead of waiting for the 5pm shuttle we took an Uber back to our Paris hotel for about 35 euros. Next time I'd just get an uber to taxi to Versailles and buy entrance tickets in advance. This would save quite a bit of money and mean you are on your own schedule.

Really great way to experience Versailles. The tour is self guided, but the driver (Arnold) was really good to give us a history lesson on Paris and Versailles while en route and on the return. He was very nice and his English was superb.

All I wanted was a comfortable bus ride and a "skip the line" access to the palace for me, my daughter, and my elderly mother. Touring the palace on our own with the audio tour was the preferred method once inside. The meeting locaiton was easy to find, as I simply showed the taxi driver the confirmation email with the address. The bus was clean and on time. The guides did their jobs getting us into the palace as we queued up with the dozens of other "skip the line" groups waiting our group's turn to "skip the line."

The trip to Versailles was wonderful. Easy place to meet. Very comfortable bus ride. Be careful to be back a bit early at meeting place at the end of the day because our guide was heading back to our bus a few minutes early and thankfully my husband spotted him. There are so many people and buses awaiting departure. I would recommend this trip because skip the line is still the best entry option.

We took the full-day audio self-guided tour and were glad we made that selection. Even though we had the “skip the line” feature, there was still a wait as we waited among other tour groups with the same feature. The palace is massive and the had-held audio device allowed us to tour at our own pace. The beautiful gardens are extensive, so we were glad we plenty of time to tour them. There are golf carts available to rent and appeared to be well worth the additional expense.

We were hesitant to book the full-day tour due to the price, but it was worth every penny! The bus was comfortable and timely. When we arrived at Versailles, the line to enter was at least a quarter-mile or longer. However, due to our skip-the-line tickets, we were in the palace with our audio guides in under 10 minutes. I highly recommend doing the full-day tour in order to have time to explore the gardens and the Trianon. We booked the full-day tour and yet still could have stayed another few hours!

Overall the visit was fun. We enjoyed the palace and audio tour. We had to wait close to an hour to get in because of a ticket problem. I thought we were supposed to skip the line. Because of this delay we ran out of time to go to Marie Antoinette castle. Access to carts was never discussed. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of this type of information.

My experience at the Palace was negatively affected by the adverse weather. There was a hail storm (!) and freezing temperatures, and so we could not make our way to the Trianon. In addition, while the Versailles was as grandiose and interesting as I had expected, it was rather stifling to be in the rooms with so many other people - I believe there were at least 2-3 other tour groups at the same time. While that obviously could not be avoided, it did not add to the experience. Perhaps they should consider limiting the number of admissions per day, even if they had to raise the ticket prices.

There are no words to describe how amazing the gardens and how vast they are, it was absolutely breath taking, I did not expect it to be so overwhelming, this is a must see, pictures don't even do it justice

Our tour guide was great, she got us on the bus and on our way to Versailles without any problems. She passed out audio tour headsets and sent us on our way. This is the full day tour with access to the Hamlet. The Grand and Petit Trianon are very cool to see, as was the Hamlet. Be prepared to WALK A TON! I clocked 18,000 steps at the end of our day. We passed on the opportunity to rent golf carts to take to the Trianons and Hamlet and after being exhausted at the end of the tour, we should have considered it. The bus was to pick us up at 4:45pm to take us back to Paris, but we were frozen and wet we traveled in early November and wanted to go home immediately. We ended up taking an Uber back to Paris. I'm not sure a full day is necessary. If we would have moved a little quicker and didn't stop for coffee and lunch, if we also rented a golf cart, we could have seen everything in half a day.

Really enjoyed our day at Versailles! The audio guided tour was great because we could go at our own pace. We took the full day option, and were so glad we did, as there is so much to see! Since we were there in the middle of winter, the fountains were all frozen and the landscape was bleak, but still amazingly beautiful! The walk to the Queen's Hamlet and the Trianons was quite far, but worth it. We were blessed with an extra bonus- it snowed on us most of the time we were outside! The snowfall added an extra touch of beauty to the palace grounds and made the day even more special!

Audio guided was not a good way to do this. I loved that we had some of the time on our own but I wish we had a little bit more guided. Rent the cart to see the grounds, much easier.
