Food Lovers Tour of Nice Local Markets and Best Shops

Really sorry Martha, the food lovers tour did not meet your expectations. The tour guide was freshly employed on the company, and we had some unexpected problems. She told me that the bar where she offered you a coffee, the toilets are always neat normally, but it had been a wrong day for the attention in the bar, she said me that she gave you excuses and she proposed you another public toilet. But this is not the fault of our guide, but an unexpected problem in the bar. Homemade Pasta is not in the description of the tour as a tasting on the tour, sometimes we do, sometimes not. The food tour have details which can change depending on the day, the season, the products available in the market and if only 3 persons booked we can offer a little bit less products than if 5 persons booked. We start with coffee, candies, little pastries, candied fruits (like breakfast in the market) and then we start later with salted local food specialties (at least 10 tastings, to do like a local lunch). We always propose at least 2 differents wines from Provence, and local olive tastings (She told us, there was another big group waiting, she asked you and you wasn't agreeing to wait for the olive oil tasting). After all the tastings finish we offer at the end, as a dessert, the best home made ice cream of Nice. As we are a small company, proposing many creative tours, the activity is sometimes too intense and we have to employ a new professional guide and a bad experience happen, really sorry about that. But we always do our best to provide quality tours with local, professional, passionate guides (with diploma) and to offer really the best quality of products and home made specialities, avoiding all the tourist traps. We are making the necessary to form all our guides before the season start and not employing a new guide during the season (she worked on foodie tours before, and didn't had time to show her all the details).
