Ebike, farm lunch and local history adventure!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Tino, riding the ebikes (which were super easy to use and provided the best gearing for this tour), learning about the geography and history of this very unique area of Italy, and eating a wonderful farm fresh lunch with local wine! Tino was very attentive and made sure we were safe at all times, even while riding on the streets, and he was very informative. This was the best tours of our multi-week vacation and we would highly recommend this adventure!

Great sights, amazing winery stop!

The winery was fantastic and we got to sample fruits straight off the tree. Views were breathtaking throughout the roughly 4 hour experience, and getting around on the ebike was easy and enjoyable. They supplied helmets and saddle bags to carry smaller items, which was very convenient. Our guide Tino was amazing!

You start your trip with a personal shuttle to the bike shop, and then take an 18mi journey of ease and fun around countryside and city. Our guide was very personable, attentive, and friendly the entire trip. He showed us multiple beautiful views along the trip and was full of history in a fun way. The winery food was outstanding and a wide variety for all, with seconds and a red and white to try and take for cost if interested. We also got to visit a site built over a volcano and sulfur steam coming from the ground. If you enjoy a leisure bike ride and being active this trip is an easy 4-6 hour day trip to do that’s very cost effective and worth every penny, and even gets you home for any nightlife activity you want.

For experience off-road riders only. 90% of the ride was on uneven cobblestone roads and in extremely heavy traffic allowing no more than 2-3 feet to navigate. Our Dutch guide in Naples, though surely a nice person, was better suited for touring Dutch tourist whom he mentioned several times did not need instruction or assistance.

if you know how to ride a bike and want to do a fun tour, this is a good one! it was a nice 6hr way to peddle off some pasta calories :-) couple comments are listen to the guide (traffic is busy but the guides are safe), keep up to the person in front of you, make sure you have the e-bike on since trying to go uphill on your own isn't too easy and make sure you keep eyes open to take in the views. i was expecting more wine tour on how wine made, see the vineyards, learn from the family however that wasn't a big miss because the group of international people and tour guides more than made up on that little miss. all in was about 20mi biking and got to see city, countryside, coastline, active volcano heat/sulfur release in a parking lot and lucked out with a overcast day that kept it cool. Tino & Guido were our guides and Tino was especially helpful even after the tour to provide suggestions in Naples and our future destination, Sorrento.

Absolutely loved this tour! Guido came and picked us up from our hotel, and was a lovely guy. Max was a fantastic tour guide, took us to some beautiful ruins, some breathtaking views and had some great local knowledge. The best but was definitely the good and wine at a beautiful secluded winery by a lake, couldn’t have asked for a better day out!

Best way to explore Naples

Had the most amazing time exploring outskirts of Naples! E-bikes were a great way to explore the city - easy to ride even uphill. Just 4-5 pedals per kilometre. We were picked up in a car from right outside our hotel which was super convenient. Our guide massimiliano balestra showed us important historic landmarks on the way.. we had plenty of stops for photos and rest. But the best part was the vineyard- an absolutely picturesque place to have cheese and wine. Soo peaceful ! We even explored the vineyard and got some amazing pictures… I couldn’t believe my luck - i had randomly booked this tour but it turned out to be one of the best experiences! Thanks to Mavin bikes and Max our guide .. a must do if you are in Naples….

I love this tour! Thank you so much to our tour guides, Giulio and Neal! I find the printed picture book/placards that Giulio showed during the tour to be very helpful. Because instead of using our imagination, the book/placards helped with visualising the surroundings! Also, I’ve not cycled for the past two years and I decided to do a bicycle tour on the very steep hills of Naples. As a result, I fell a few times and I’m completely sunburnt and bruised all over my body. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the trip because I got to learn more about the volcanoes in the area, the history in the areas and the view is absolutely breathtaking. And the food at the vineyard was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed myself despite the injuries! Lastly, I was so lucky that a Dutch mother-and-daughter duo was part of the tour. The Dutch mother was so kind and advised me which gear to use throughout the tour, and both of them have taught me the “Dutch” way of cycling! Highly recommend to take this tour even though you might be inexperienced in cycling. To be honest, the whole experience (including the falling) was awesome and I really enjoyed it!

We had a great time. The scenery was lovely and we were joined by a group of women who were a lot of fun. There were some delays because some of the group were unprepared for the long ride (around 22 miles) but the e-bikes were so easy to use (it was our first time trying them). Tino took good care of us all and we enjoyed the ride and the vineyard stop. I really enjoyed discovering a bit more about the region.

Me and my boyfriend were so pleased with this experience and couldn’t really fault it! Tino was such a lovely guide and we thoroughly enjoyed his company and services. We were a bit nervous about cycling around in busy Naples but we felt extremely comfortable with tino ahead. Would recommend this to anyone visiting!

Tino guided us through the tour (city and all) confidently and safely. He was extremely knowledgeable about the region’s history and pointed out several fascinating sites I had never heard of (e.g. the underwater city, Baiae, which I will definitely be checking out). The stop at the winery was very relaxing with beautiful views amongst the ancient ruins and crater lake. I was even able to buy some of their delicious honey made on-site. Overall a great way to spend the day. A word of caution, this tour is about 20miles of biking (according to my watch). While the e-bikes help considerably (esp with hills), this still requires a minimum level of fitness to get through comfortably. I highly recommend this tour.

What a great time ! Our guide, Tino, was a pro. We were brought to many great sites, including the Winery. The bikes were well Maintained. Overall just a great time. Make sure you are confident riding a bike though.

Best Way to do a Wine Tour!!

I did this tour with some friends while visiting Naples for a weekend. For starters, the guides were fantastic. They were knowledgeable about the city, friendly and funny during the whole trip, and incredibly accommodating the entire time. They made sure we had fun while also learning about the vineyard and the route we took, and they were great for taking pictures of the group too!! I was a little hesitant to do an e-bike tour, but I don't think I would've wanted to do anything different. It was beautiful to be outside in the sun and on the streets of the city, and I think biking gave us a chance to appreciate the city more than if we were just in a van. The vineyard we went to was by a beautiful lake, and biking around that was incredible too. I would recommend this trip to anyone, especially since the electric bikes are super easy to use and don't require too much energy or endurance to get around with! For the price, I think this is one of the best tours anyone could do.

Tino was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. We started near the city and biked along the coast and to a beautiful crater lake surrounded by vineyards, lemon trees, and Roman ruins for a light lunch with wine. Though Naples has crazy drivers and traffic patterns, we felt very safe with Tino. I would recommend this experience and do it again myself.
