    Took a little bit to find the bus stop, wasn't the most intuitive, but I also knew that I would inevitably find it. I only had to wait about 2 minutes before a bus arrived. The bus driver was courteous and the bus was nice. It was very straightforward to get to my destination (central train station) once I was on the bus.

    Waited only a few minutes for pickup. Driver was courteous. Very pleasant ride to our destination. We arrived at terminal 1, so it was a bit of a walk to get over to the pickup point.

    Nonexistent Customer Service—Would Not Recommend

    I blame part of my bad experience with Viator on me, and partly on them. I accidentally booked for the wrong day, but when I tried to contact them (multiple ways), I never got a response. Not only was their phone number not working, but days later I STILL have not gotten an email back from their customer support. Also, the transfer service I requested was not up front about their operating times. I would not recommend Viator for their clear lack of customer service. Waste of money.

    It’s so easy to locate the bus station. From Arrivals, you follow the’Bus’ overhead sign to the floor below. Once outside, the bus stop is on your left. There is the Lufthansa signage at the bus stop. The driver was pleasant and he helped with loading the luggage. It was an easy and seamless ride. Remember to fasten your seatbelt on the bus!

    The transfer worked very well but we did have trouble finding the stop at the airport. Unless we misread them the instructions didn't instruct us to go to a lower floor in order to get to the stop. Once at the stop everything worked perfectly both getting into the city and again back from the city to the airport. The buses run every 15 minutes so never long to wait if you've just missed one. The ride was very comfortable.

    This is a shared shuttle service that works as early as 5 AM and I believe finishes up around midnight. Overall it does the job. Buses are nice and drivers are efficient. This will get you from MUC to one of two stops (the last of which is Central Station). Driver's didn't speak much English, so good to know where you're going once you get to the station as the probably can't help much. Also travel is limited by how much space is underneath for passengers and their luggage (we loaded the luggage ourselves, so you may have to be aggressive at the airport to make sure yours gets on). Overall good value if you're aiming to get to central station. Drive time is about 30 minutes.

    This was a very easy and stress free way to get to-and-from the airport. The bus was on-time and we never had to wait more than 15 minutes to depart from either location. The bus was clean and the drivers were professional.

    I have been to Munich before and did not know this option to/from the airport existed. The bus was clean, fast, and cheap compared to taking a taxi or transferring between two - three trains. If I come back again I would book the buses again in a heartbeat.

    The ride was great. Easy, clean, quick. Getting on the bus was a challenge because the driver didn’t recognize our ticket as a ticket (even though it said ticket - in English, though). He kept insisting it was a voucher and we couldn’t get on with a voucher. Then he asked if we had cancelled our reservation. Somehow he finally figured it out, though, and let us on. And when we arrived at City Center, he was helpful in offering to get us going in the right direction. Maybe the ticket should be printed in German too?

    Coming out of the airport in Munich we saw the bus on the corner. We walked across the street with the printout to take the shuttle to the downtown area. The driver saw us, got off the bus, looked at the paper I showed him, shook his head, said "Nein", got back on the bus and closed the door. Thinking that we had made a mistake on where to go, I tried to ask the driver through the closed door where to go. Instead of helping, he drove away. We walked all over the parking area trying to find the right bus and finally found another one whose driver was waiting for the next run. He made the effort to explain to us that we had originally been in the right place and apologised for the first driver who refused to help us. Seeing that we had quite a bit of luggage and that we are close to 80 years old, he allowed us to get on the bus instead of walking all the way back to the stop. So the first driver was neither helpful nor friendly but the second one did all he could to help.
