    Join up with your guide at one of the central meeting points on the Costa del Sol, and settle inside your air-conditioned coach. Then, journey along the coast to the British territory of Gibraltar, set on a promontory that juts into the Mediterranean Sea.

    Best known for its towering limestone ridge known as the Rock of Gibraltar, this chunk of British territory is also famous for its duty-free shopping and British institutions, including its British-style pubs, trademark red telephone boxes and policemen dressed in British uniforms!

    On arrival, take a panoramic coach tour and visit Europa Point, Gibraltar’s southernmost point. View the lighthouse that stands at the gateway between the Mediterranean and Atlantic, and absorb the spectacular views over the Strait of Gibraltar toward North Africa.

    Next, hop onto a minibus for a guided tour of the iconic Rock. On your way up, stop to visit beautiful St Michael Cave, a network of natural limestone caverns hollowed into the cliff. Marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites as you learn how the cave has been used through the centuries, and behold the largest cave, a natural grotto regularly used as a venue for concerts and other events.

    Then, head up the rock to meet its famous residents: the semi-wild Barbary macaque monkeys, known locally as 'Barbary apes.' Hear the story of how the British will never leave Gibraltar until the apes depart, and take snaps of these cheeky animals, taking care to watch your belongings!

    Later, head back down the rock, and enjoy free time to explore independently. Perhaps enjoy a meal (own expense), stroll around the pretty lanes, or head for Main Street, the partly pedestrianized, long shopping avenue. Browse the department stores, international fashion chains and handicrafts shops, and maybe snap up duty-free favorites such as liquor, watches, fragrances and other great-value goodies.

    When the time comes, return to your coach and ride back to the Costa del Sol where your tour ends at the start point.

    The sightseeing and guidning in Gibraltar was great and highly recommended! BUT… The guy from the tour operator who traveled with the bus from Malaga to Gibraltar to “oversee the organisation” of the trip was a complete disaster. Giving wrong and contradictory information and talking nonsense throughout the journey.

    The guide spoke FIVE languages, impressive! Then from the large pick up bus we moved to smaller mini vans based on language. Our driver, Danny, was excellent, funny and informative. Everything moved at a perfect place and it was much easier then trying to see it all on your own. Great day, highly recommend.

    It was a nice experience to see Gibraltar. Overall it was a positive trip. People should know that even though we specified a language, our tour buses had guides giving the tour in multiple languages. The buses were very crowded and warm with people sitting on all the middle row jump seats. There wasn’t a lot of time at each stop, but it was probably adequate for most people. I would take this tour again but would adjust my expectations.

    Loved the trip. Took us around 2 and a half to 3 hours to get there due to pick ups which was expected and no bother. When we got there we were given over an hour to explore the main city which was great and gave us time to eat our lunch which you could bring with you or could eat out with the time you're given. After we were taken around the city and up the rock to the cave and monkeys with our tour guide who was amazing! Loved seeing the moneys and the cave, and the views were amazing. Definitely an experience that's worth the travel time!

    Gibraltar itself is an interesting place to visit, especially the St. Michael's Cave, but the organized tour isn't worth it. We had to meet up with the tour at 6:50 AM, which meant waking up at 5 AM. The tour bus then drove around for 3 hours picking up passengers, even waiting for up to half an hour in one place and also another half an hour at a gas station, because we were too early to pick up some other passengers!!? Then in Gibraltar at one site we only had 10 minutes to see Europa Point and then 20 minutes at the cave. I would recommend going to Gibraltar on your own and while there, then book on-site tours, or else except to speak about 6 hours driving around in a bus and only a couple of rushed hours actually seeing something of Gibraltar.

    Rafael, the guide on the main bus was rude, bad tempered and his English was poor. The commentary was very difficult to understand. Damian, the guide on the mini bus was excellent, spoke clearly and made that part of the journey interesting and entertaining.

    Alicia was a great guide and we enjoyed the tour with her being on board! Very professional, very calm! I feel the details of the tour ex Malaga were not entirely correct as they did mention the long pick up, nearly 2hrs, before actually leaving to the tour, which altogether became a 12hrs tour with only 4,5hrs net spent in Gibraltar, the rest on the bus travelling between the pick ups + Malaga to Gibraltar, where the distance is only cca 100kms or so. Very tiring experience. The price is OK for the tour itself if you are picked up in Marbella, but too much, considering 2 + 2 hrs on filling and emptying the bus where Malaga is the first at 0650 and last at 1900

    We traveled from Malaga to Gibraltar with friends. As our pick up was at 6.50am we left the hotel around 6.30am. We reached the border of Gibraltar at 1040 am. There are no breaks scheduled and if you have a weak bladder then you are in big trouble. You get total of 5 hours but the shopping experience is only for 2hours. The customs checking included in the 5 hour hence you will get approx 4 hours. The tour guide is been very difficult as we asked for a comfort break during 3.40 hour drive. There was lot of sarcasm came from him because of that.

    The tour was very rushed and we spent 3 hours getting to Gibraltar. The tour guide on the rock tour, Lewis, was great, although after the rock tour we only had ca 2 hours to see Gibraltar after the rock tour. Since we had spent 3 hours getting to Gibraltar and did the rock tour I ate lunch after, and then I really didn't have time to do anything else than walk around in the Main street. You get a ticket for the nature reserve included in the price but you don't have time to use it for anything other than the caves on the rock tour. Gibraltar is a nice place to visit so you should defintaley have at leash one more hour there. Also the bus left Gibraltar without me. Our guide Dominic told us to be back at 14.45 and I had problems finding the way back so I was there 14.50 and then the bus had left. The company had my number so they could at leash called and asked if I was ok and where I was. Luckily there was another bus from the same company that could take me back to Torremolinos. So to summarize the Rock tour guide was great and Gibraltar is definetley worth seeing, but choose a tour that gives you more time or get there on your own.

    The trip was really pleasant, but we wished that we had more guidance from our tour guide. We got to Gibraltar and he just said we had free time, but didn’t specify what we should do or not do during that time. If you want to go to the top of the rock then take the cable car during that time. The tour itself only brings you 2/3 the way up. The tour will take you to the cave, light house, view point, and a mosque. It is all beautiful! The trip was worth it, but some additional direction would be nice!

    The bus picked us up at our hotel 10 minutes early, which was wonderful. It was a very pleasurable ride to Gibraltar. Our tour guide to the rock was outstanding and the view from the top was amazing. The Monkees performed royally and the keys were truly something to see. We had time to kill so we went into the town and sat outside and ate a wonderful lunch and saw a British soldier parade go by. What a treat that was. This was a wonderful tour and everything was superb. This is a must see trip.
