This was an excellent tour! Our guide was informative and fun. We had a great time! The snow we experienced on the way to Segovia was an unexpected added bonus! Well worth our time and money!

Under-trained / under-qualified tour guide

At arrival, they refused to open the bus doors while we stood in the cold. English speaking guide (female Belen) never even introduced herself - she mainly catered to the Spanish speakers on the bus rides. Bus rides were far too long between sites. At Toledo we arrived when nothing was open on a Sunday AM - wasting nearly 30 minutes just standing around waiting. The Toledo walking tour was fair at best as we did not go in anywhere (and had no free time to even go into the cathedral). Belen appeared to have a cold (she said she was out in the cold all day Saturday and had a sore throat as she tried to take cough medicine a few times suting the trip - NOT GOOD IN LIGHT OF COVID). Belen spoke far too softly and said she was "too lazy" to turn on the speaker she had. The sword store was another waste of 30 minutes. Segovia walking tour was equally only fair and the final bad straws were getting dropped at the palace and being told we had 15 minutes there and that we would have to figure our own way back to the bus. When we finally said how amateurish and concerning the guide was sick and how overall disappointing the tour was, Belen simply scoffed and walked away. At least Enrique, Spanish speaking guide tried to apologize but he too basically just made excuses. POOR TOUR - NOT WORTHY OF VIATOR - FIND A BETTER PARTNER IN MADRID FOR TOLEDO AND SEGOVIA.

Loved this day trip! Both of these towns are absolutely beautiful! It’s definitely worth it to go visit towns like this and get out of the city. Our guides were the best.

Terrible. The guide did not have a solid enough grasp on the English language to make it interesting or a proper learning experience, and the group size was about 2xs larger than it was supposed to be. EXTREMELY dissapoinring.

Both Toledo and Segovia were fantastic. I would suggest not going to the gold workshop as it takes time away from seeing the sites. We were all there to visit Toledo and Segovia, not to shop. Toledo’s visit was way too short. The hour spent shopping could and should have been used to seeing more of such AMAZING place as Toledo. The time in Segovia was more appropriate to the goal of the tour.

The Toledo and Segovia tour is my best experience in Spain! I enjoyed the rural landscapes on the comfortable bus rides. Jose was an extraordinary guide! He narrated every aspect of the trip with expert historical knowledge and humor. The walks through both towns were just breathtaking, beauty and history everywhere. Thank you for arranging this comprehensive tour!

Toledo and Segovia were definitely wonderful places to visit. Our guide was great too! However, this is a big bus tour with large groups which comes with it challenges. We had people that showed up 15 minutes late at the bus on the last stop which delayed our arrival back in Madrid. I'm not sure why people are so rude to hold back 50 people without even getting on the bus with an apology. There is also no restroom on the bus and with an initial long ride you should be prepared.
