Following a convenient pick-up at your central Ljubljana hotel, meet your guide and head to Bled Castle. Learn about the medieval castle’s history during your guided tour.

Next, journey through rural Slovenia to Bohinj Lake. Capture spectacular turquoise views of Slovenia’s largest glacial lake and the surrounding Julian Alps. In the distance, witness the 9,396-foot (2,864 meter) Slovene peak of Mt.Triglav, the highest point in Slovenia. Then take a short stroll to the origin of Bohinj Lake, the emerald green Sava Bohinjka River.

Enjoy a chance to rest and soak up the ambiance.

Finally, visit the Church of St. John the Baptist on the northern side of the Sava Bohinjka River and enjoy its exquisite 13th-century frescoes. Hop back on the bus and journey home to Ljubljana.

Kyla, The guide was super friendly and nice. It feels like she really enjoy our company and it was nice. I would only recommend having some mic for the guide while driving the van so everyone should hear her also in the back.

Our guide Vasja was amazing!! He was so helpful and picked us up close to our campsite. He was also extremely knowledgeable and interesting and tailored the tour to what we wanted to do. The scenery is just spectacular and the added extras such as the boat tour, wine tasting and cream cake are well with doing. We went to a nice spot for lunch (not included in price) with traditional Slovenian food which was again lovely. Vasja went above and beyond for us during the day even helping us to source a new tyre for our van that had broken. We can’t speak highly enough of Slovenia, the tour or our guide- all were fabulous!

Our driver, Irina, was excellent. She gave us lots of interesting information about the Slovenia and the areas we visited. We were able to spend all the time we needed at the sights. We enjoyed a nice walk in the gorge, a boat trip to the church on Lake Bled with many opportunities for photos and a nice lunch at the restaurant she recommended. Lake Bled is definitely the highlight. Lake Bohinj was quiet, we took a few photos and went for a short walk.

Excellent day out. Initially we were concerned about the length of the trip (it was the only one available) but our worries were unfounded. Our host Irina was superb and very knowledgable. Lake Bled is a must see and we were given the flexibility of deciding how we spent our time there. Bohinj is also a beautiful area and with hindsight this is the trip to do as we could have missed this wonderful part of Slovenia. Whole day was superb with no negative aspects whatsoever. Recommend!

This is an excellent tour. Bohinj is beautiful - well worth visiting. We actually preferred it to Bled! It snowed the day before our trip but that made it even better as there was snow on the peaks & mist in the lake which made for some really stunning pictures. The free cake was delicious. It would have been great to see the Gorge but unfortunately it was the wrong time of year. Our guide (Eleni - apologies for spelling) was amazing - so friendly, attentive & informative. She made the tour!!

It’s an experience that is completely worth it if you appreciate nature. Beautiful sightings, very nice tour guide and you’ll be surrounded by a multitude of delicious restaurants to eat at. Out of all of the countries I visited while in Europe this year, Slovenia was my favorite and this tour was part of that reason. Thank you ! (I wouldn’t find this tour fun for children.)

What I did appreciate most was that we really were driven around Slovenia— the guide took the time to drive us up and down small roads so we could see traditional architecture and could see certain churches and sculptures. However, it was a little unorganized in that we missed a boat because the guide didn't ask us if we wanted to do the boat or not, and we didn't eat lunch until 3pm when the group was already very hungry! It was a rainy day as well, so umbrellas would have been very very appreciated. It also would have been nice to have the guide walk around with us and tell us stories. This felt more like having just a shuttle driver than having a tour guide of the area.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this day was. Vladimir had me laughing the entire time with his engaging commentary about Slovenian life and culture. I booked this tour alone but there was one other solo traveller on the tour and she was fantastic company. The sights were gorgeous and everything was allotted enough time. I highly recommend!

My husband and I took this tour because of the beautiful views which we had heard about. We were the only two on the tour that day, because we visited in December. Both areas were absolutely beautiful and because it was so quiet we managed to get incredible photos of the scenary without all of the tourists. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We would do it again and can't recommend it enough.

This was a day full of beautiful sights. Our guide had lots of local knowledge and helped us avoid the crowds. The gorge is stunning!!! We felt like we had plenty of time everywhere we stopped and the guide was flexible with the order and times. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the lakes.

Slovenia offers a lot, but these attractions you visit at this daily tour are amazing and one of the bests. Our guides are always there for you with all the information and local knowledge and since we know all the paths to the sites, we can sometimes make some turns to avoid crowds. Vintgar Gorge is really stunning as you said. It is even better if you have enough time at the sites so you can really enjoy the views and beauty of our small country. Lucky enough to be there when the leaves were in full colour and the day was perfectly sunny and still. Our guide, Maja, was the best - friendly, informative about both the area, but also about Slovenia in general. I learned so much about the country’s past, present and it’s friendly people. Plenty of time for wandering and appreciating the beauty of the lakes; Maja was happy to stop at anytime for Photos, etc. highly recommended.
