After meeting your professional guide in central Lisbon get ready for a wonderful half-day trip to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. Ascend eastward towards the town of Sintra and learn about Portugal’s history. Pass Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and arrive at the opulent Sintra National Palace. Tour the palace and hear fascinating insight about the architectural design and elegant interior of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and former home to royal families of Portugal.

Buckle-up aboard your air-conditioned coach and enjoy views of the Tagus River as you drive the scenic coast of Portugal.

Next, cruise to the westernmost extent of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca (April to October only, weather permitting). Admire expansive Atlantic Ocean views alongside the lighthouse which sits upon a granite bluff of boulders. Then, cruise the coastline gazing over the golden beaches and turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The tour was okay. We signed up for an English tour, but 80% of what the guide talked about was in Portuguese. She spoke good English, but if you signed tour, one would expect that most of it would be in English.

The Guide did not stop at Boca do Inferno. One of the reasons that I chose this tour was because of that parade and it did not happen. The Climate was perfect and I could not understand why. I felt fooled. The rest of the tour was as planned.

Liked the sights and felt I got my moneys worth since the tour ran over by an hour. It is hard to have a great tour, though, when the tour is conducted in three different languages. It made the tour impersonal since I felt like the tour guide couldnt really add in any ad how information since it was such a burden to translate. There was also a lot of ailence during the bus tour which I felt could have easily been filled with facts and history about the sights along the way.

This trip was absolutely stunning. We are air crew and we always look to maximize our layover time by taking in beauty, culture and food when possible. Our tour took us to places like no other. We had 3 stops on this tour that took in local, coastal and good wine. We truly appreciated the tour guide and driver both for their knowledge and excellent service provided.

First of all, the tour was overcrowded. The tour guide tried to explain everything in three languages. First Portuguese, then English, then German definitely not fluent in German. This cost the tour take three times as long at every point of interest, this made people bored and tired. By the way, the tour started around 14.40 and we have been told we will be back in Lisbon around 19.00. But after visiting Sintra National Palace we arrived Cascais at 19.00 after sunset and we have been told the bus will move after 40 minutes. As we've had other arrangement in Lisbon at 19.30 so we had to take a taxi to Lisbon by ourselves. As far as I've observed, other tourists were also frustrated because of this delay and were asking other means to travel back to Lisbon. I've purchased and attended many tours from Viator and this is definitely worst experience I've had. If I had the opportunity I'd definitely ask for a refund! Also, please note that the tour takes you to only National Palace in Sintra, not Pena Palace.

This tour was Amazing. It was fun and tackles the important sights although I wish it could've have stopped at the devils mouth and a little longer at cascais , you should consider a beach day trip for solo travelers who do not rent cars

Please be aware if you book on Viator.... the pick up location is wrong!! I waited over an hour to find out i was at the wrong spot and had missed the bus. Was very disappointed. Im sure the actual trip would have been great but i wasnt able to go as it was my last day in Lisbon. It was also aggravating because cityrama blamed Viator for listing the wrong pickup location. But if the tour knew we had booked through viator which had the wrong information and that they were missing 3 passengers, why not send one of the 10 employees standing around doing nothing to go and check if we were waiting in front of the Statue? kinda silly to not care to check. So be warned... meet the guide at the little red cityrama/gray line booth office BEHIND the statue, where all the double decker red buses are lined up. Dont miss out on a great trip like i did.
