Had to wait 1 hour for a bus to arrive. The other hop on hop off company had 5 to 1 buses running. Waited my vacation time for sure. Will not use again. No to YELLOW BUS.

Maybe it’s there somewhere on the website, but I could not fine either a picture of the route with stops shown, or the address of any one place it stopped. We wandered for 2 hours asking where to go to get on the bus. We would be told one mile this way only to get there and be told, no, one mile the other way. Very very frustrating. Just give an address and show the route maps ONLINE. Otherwise it was what I expected and a good experience.

Yellow Bus is a BUST.

So, I go to Marquez de Pambol to find the bus. I don’t see the bus, I don’t see a sign. I ask someone. I go there. No bus, no sign. I call. I navigate the phone menu at $0.25 per minute, and I get hung up on. I email them, 3 hours later, I get a useless answer. Technically correct, but unhelpful. I write them again, 18 hours later I get another technically correct answer, but once again, completely useless. I write back asking again for the information, at this point more to drive the point in as I’m 42 hours into a now useless 48 hour ticket. I got the same useless information back again. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE CLOSE TO THEIR KIOSK. It is my recommendation that they be removed from Viator until they can produce: a) more specific and accurate information on Viator and their website and b) provide REAL office support with helpful , meaningful information by phone, including availability on WhatsApp. This was 7 tickets that I had to replace on a competitor out of my pocket. If i could give you a minus 5 star review, I would.

We bought a 48h ticket and the first day on the bus, line blue and purple was ok but the headphones didnt work ok. The next day nothing worked, the headphones didnt work at all at first and when we heard something it was only music , no voice. The bus driver had to drive anorher route due to rhe Lisbon maraton, maybe that explained it all? But no information was given…

It was a great experience, we did hop on/off on the last 2 days off our Lisbon's visit and we were very happy, Staff was very nice and helpful, with the bus we could travel with the buggie over the city, stays for hour or 2 on nice spots and take another bus later to back to city centre, we checked both ways, modern and belem, we enjoyed tour guide and Portugese songs also. Thank you

One of the tour routes wasn’t available, so I feel we didn’t receive our money’s worth. Also, we didn’t know where to find the entry point for the bus because the Yellow Bus Hop-On Hop-Off bus number we called didn’t answer. We finally found a kiosk in the center of town, but the boarding area was still far away. If the directions had been better and clearly stated where to meet the bus (also, if the other tour line had been available), it would have been a much more enjoyable experience. The tour to Belem itself, roughly an hour and a half long, was fine; however, it didn’t stop at or even mention the famous Pasteis de Belem.

I sat and waited for one and one half hours for this yellow bus to show up for the 12:30 bus and then for the 1:00 bus. They did not show up. They use covid as an excuse however I just returned from Mexico and everything is working perfectly with their tour buses.

The worst experience ever. Yellow bus has lesser buses flying across the city making the wait process very long. Customer service definitely needs improvement. Yellow bus needs to compensate for the terrible experience else will actually go on to social media to advertise or publise the bad experience

Amazing tour network. I would recommend everyone to do this. We took blue + purple + orange line which also included trams, funicular and santa justa lift. This tour took us every place we knew and want to go. Network was good. Drivers are soooooo good and helpful. They took time to explain us where are we and what to expect. Lisbon is a beautiful city and yellow bus tour make it so happening for visitors.

The Modern Lisbon tour was helpful and efficient. We knew what areas we wanted to return to see and it gave us a good overview. The blue Belem route was awful. Most of the time spent in traffic and the recorded messages were choppy, cutting output. We moved seats a few times so we knew it wasn’t our seat or headphones—it didn’t matter. Very boring route.

the hop on hop off bus tour of Lisbon made seeing the city extremely easy we did have an issue changing our tickets as I did read checking out the reviews one trolley driver just played dumb when we tried to get on with our vouchers you need to go to the commerciao square I believe it is called to changed your voucher other than that we would not have seen half of Lisbon without the bus

Unless you picked the bus up from the starting point, it could be really difficult to find the stops in-between. In this day of GPS and mobile apps, it could be made so much easier to find the stops and to know how long you need to wait for the next bus. Not really sure that it was value for money.
