Our experience was amazing!! Our tour guide was a true local who did a fabulous job of telling us about the history of the city! I swear she knew everyone we passed. Plus the food and wine were incredible! Highly recommend!

Wow, how can we truly say this was such a great value and tour. We loved our host and tour guide Yelena. She was so knowledgeable about Kotor and the history of Montenegro. This was our first visit and she made it so special. As a private tour with lunch we were shocked at how much food we received and were even asked if we wanted more helpings. While the food was light in nature and more tapas style with dips and bread, along with cured meats and mussels, we found it to be very filling. We liked how she told us about each dish and what was included in them. We also enjoyed the pace and ability to talk to Yelena as a friend walking us through her home town. Such a great experience.

We had an AMAZING time in this tour and learned so much - about the history of Montenegro, the town, it’s culture, it’s people, the building and the life that continues in a town frozen in time. Our guide was friendly, smart, warm and just made our day.
We considered just wandering the town ourselves and reading from a guidebook but booked this at the last minute. It was so worth it. We would have left Kotor just thinking “it’s so pretty” if we hadn’t done this. Instead we left with a great appreciation and understanding side of what shaped this beautiful place.
The food was amazing too. We were stuffed by the time we left.

Actually, this is not a regular food tour, it is more of a private sightseeing tour combined with getting to know the locals and tasting the food products and local wine that are characteristic for Montenegro and Kotor.

What a surprise that this was a private tour. Our guide, Duca, was so informative. He gave us the history of Kotor and Montenegro. We walked at a leisurely pace, stopping at various points to learn about points of interest. The tour concluded with a visit to an outdoor feast at a local restaurant. The tour exceeded our expectations!! Montenegro is a beautiful country and this stop was the highlight of our Mediterranean cruise!
