I learned a lot about Estonia in this activity and now understand their rich culture. I would recommend that my friends visit this country.

Fabulous day trip to Tallinn

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The boat trip itself is great (more like a cruise ship than a ferry!) Our guide and driver were both very engaged, informative, and helpful. We learned so much about the medieval city, but also about Estonia in general. Our lunch was great, and we had free time at the end of the tour to wander about and explore. Highly recommended!

Get all of Europe in one Place

Old Town in Tallinn is a well worthwhile trip and this excursion is a great way to experience it. It was a little mix of Prague and Budapest to me, and with all the World Embassies located here, a bit of Brussels too! You can get a taste of Europe all in a day trip. Be prepared to do some walking on the cobblestone roads as well as it is hilly to a certain degree, so a bit difficult for people with walking challenges or in a wheelchair. Our lunch was excellent as was the service. We were not rushed at all and were positioned at a location right in the heart of Old Town to continue our free time to explore afterwards. I travel solo and this was a great group to be with for the day.

A really good day trip from Helsinki, well worth doing. The ferry crossings were straight forward and easy and the tour of the old town in Tallin was informative and thoroughly enjoyable. The Christmas markets to end the day in our free time were a highlight.

The day cruise tour to Medieval Tallinn in Estonia was amazing and worth it. Julia the tour guide was already at the dock to meet me with a friendly welcome. Julia was well-versed with all the historical places we visited during the tour. Walking thru the cobblestones streets and well preserved Old town was taking a step back in time. Tallinn is the the birthplace of Skype.

I booked this tour, as I wasn't sure of availability or access to get to Tallinn other ways. In retrospect, I could have saved the and got as much out of the trip as I did by booking this tour. The only additional information provided, that I could not have sourced elsewhere was a short bus tour of some of the historic buildings from tsarist Russia that were outside the old medieval town.Hearing about Estonian history and the endurance of their unique culture even through some of the more interesting times of the 20th Century was quite interesting, but not worth the additional paid.
