This activity will end right where it started.
Fiat 500s were first introduced in Italy in the 1950s and quickly won the hearts of Italians for their stylish looks and affordable prices. Nowadays, vintage models are harder to come by, but you’ll have the rare chance to ride a 1960s model on your tour.

Join up with your guide in central Florence and head to the garage where your retro car will be waiting for you. A safety overview will be provided as well as a test run with car’s manual gears to ensure you’re comfortable before hitting the road.

Then, you're off! Your guide will keep in constant radio contact ahead as you follow through the city streets and up into the hills of Tuscany. Stop to see the beautiful Romanesque design of the Church of San Miniato al Monte, noted by many as the country’s most beautiful church, and soak up the surrounding views of Florence below.

Hop back in your Fiat and journey deeper into Tuscany, pausing for photos and passing through charming hillside towns. Your guide will lead the way to a private terrace, where you and your group will enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal, complete with regional specialties such as crostini and cured salami. After your stomach and taste buds have been sated, you will drive back to your original departure point in Florence.

  • "That's maybe something worth considering changing, I think some roads were not that suitable for scooters and to split up cars and scooters, with each group having a guide of their own, may also be a bit safer." See review

Small car, big fun.

The drive was really fun. We stopped at a vineyard, San Miniato, and had an excellent lunch. Old Italian cars are a bit quirky, but that’s half the fun. Alex was a great guide.

Family Fiat Tour in October

This is the second time we had taken this tour. The first one was so good we wanted our family to enjoy this experience. Our tour guide Alex is excellent, not only in directing the group through Tuscany but also he is a great historian, and very knowledgeable of the agricultural aspects of the area. He has a way to add some humor to the more serious subjects of history. Definitely a must do tour if you are in the area.

Not to miss experience while in Tuscany

Lovely experience around the Tuscany hills and villages, yet close to Florence. The classic car enthusiasts will have the chance to drive the iconic Italian car while receiving smiles from people passing by. Alex guided us through great places, learning us many secrets that tourists don’t know (local history, habits, wine and so on) ending up with a tasty lunch in a beautiful view farm. Lots of wine tasting and cooking classes in Tuscany, right? But this experience is unique and that’s why I fully recommend it.

Why not? It’s the Tuscan Hillside

Alex was our tour guild & he was great! The vintage cars get sticky but are so much fun to drive if you can drive a manual transmission and the hillsides in Tuscany are beautiful. It’s a slow start because they run the vintage Fiat tour with the Vespa tour so you have to wait for everyone to get trained. Then driving behind the Vespas can be slow. The lunch provided was pasta with fresh chopped tomatoes and a sliced meat board w/cheese, water & Chianti wine options.

A must-do in Florence

An highlight of our time in Florence! Chris, Alex, and Carmela were a delight and made sure our trip was fun, safe, and delicious at the end. You get a small taste of wine country with a stop by a local farmer's vineyard, wind through the hills to several scenic stops, and the lunch together at the end was a relaxing cap off to an adventurous day. It's a great way to experience the outskirts of the city.

This activity was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. It was fun and easy to drive an old Fiat. You must know hoy to drive a stick shift. The drive thru the countryside was beautiful with great stops along the way. Our lunch was outstanding!

This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The Fiats are fun to drive and you get the most amazing views of Florence and the Tuscan hillside during the stops. Good photo opportunities. The guide was very knowledgable and the lunch was great too. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.
