Excellent trip, probably my most favorite one of all, Giacomo our guide was friendly and explained in advanced what to expect, we had photos taken in Pisa, at the winery and in Siena. It was the best trip of all during our 11 days in Italy. We gave a tip to honor his enthusiasm and to express our gratitude.

Great Tuscan tour that left us wanting more

This tour ended up being the highlight of my wife and I's 10 year anniversary trip to Italy. It's a little pricey but it was definitely worth it. The meetup begins at Piazalle Montelungo which is basically a bus stop with a large parking lot. Arrive early to take any stress out of the equation. A couple of people arrived by taxi moments before the bus left. Where you sit will be your seat for the entire journey so take this into consideration. We sat in the very front and had a great view of the Tuscan countryside, although smashed bugs on the windshield ruined most of the pictures. The tour gives you a taste of Siena along with it's stunning cathedral, lunch and winetasting at a vineyard, San Gimignano, and then finishes in Pisa. Lunch and winetasting was by far our favorite part. Due to the size of the crowds that day everything took longer than it was supposed to and we were pretty much rushed back on the bus. Several people weren't able to take a bathroom break after drinking several glasses, order wine, or even have a quick look at the vineyard. I feel kind of bad for the owners of the vineyard as the wine ordering process wasn't very efficient for such a short visit. (there was a lengthy sheet that required handwriting your options, address, etc.) A web form of some kind would've worked much better. For this reason we were unable to purchase any wine here and simply did so in San Gimignano. Pisa was the least enticing portion of the visit but we're still glad we went. It was very hot that day and our feet were sore after a long day of walking. Additionally the walk from the bus was quite lengthy, maybe half a mile? Everyone snored on the bus back to Florence. Our guide (I think his name was Frederico? from Florence) was funny and very talented speaking several different languages. We had a couple of very elderly members of our group who frequently lagged far behind and even got lost in Pisa. He made sure that nobody was left behind. As others have mentioned bring VERY comfortable shoes and don't wear shorts if you plan on visiting Siena Cathedral. I heard that they close for service in September and October so one could actually wear shorts. Do your research I suppose. Now a couple of tips: 1. Watch for pickpockets in Pisa. Take only what money you need from the bus. 2. After you're done with wine tasting/lunch understand that you'll only have a few minutes before its time to get back on the bus. Pee before everyone else gets up or you'll be standing in line for 10 minutes. 3. San Gimignano is beautiful but don't explore any further than Piazza della Cisterna, the central square if it's hot outside. Many of the streets go up or down a steep hill and don't offer anything you haven't already seen.

Great trip. Lunch in the beautiful Tuscan vineyard was the highlight for us. Constantino was knowledgeable, funny and well organised. His yellow umbrella made him easy to follow

Wonderful adventures through Tuscany’s treasures (and great wine and food!)

Excellent day trip from Florence! I was a bit skeptical when I booked it, (there were several options and I wasn’t sure what vineyard we’d go to or how lunch would be, etc.,) but I really and truly recommend it- we had a full day exploring some of Tuscany’s highlights along with some excellent wine and delicious lunch overlooking a gorgeous vineyard of Tuscany. Siena (the cathedral was absolutely stunning!), the vineyard in and the town of San Gimignano, and Pisa were all treasures. Our guide- Constantino was super nice, personable, funny and knowledgeable guide, and Tiziano, our driver was also excellent, kind and kept us very comfortable. The bus was nice and plush, and it was a fantastic day overall. I highly recommend this day trip.

Tuscany fairy tale

Seeing the three towns was enchanting. A bathroom on the bus or planned potty stops would have helped. The tour description needs to mention that the tour was about 6 1/2 miles of walking up and down cobblestone streets. We had Mile long walks to go to each city. Patrons weren’t happy about this. That should be mentioned as well. The pasta dish tasted like Campbell’s beef vegetable soup, edible but blah. The truffle oil helped. Chiara was darling and informative at our wine tasting.. the waiters did an amazing job as well. The vineyard did a great job accommodating various diets. Our driver, Raoul was excellent and tour leader, Francesco went above snd beyond for so many of us. He got me a bag of ice to help with a severe allergic reaction to mosquitoes in my legs. It really helped reduce the swelling and pain.

I couldn't have picked a better tour. The food, staff and entertainment was magnifico! The history of the winery had me purchasing more "souvenirs" than I normally do.
