The 2 wineries we visited were very welcoming and nice. Marta was a great tour guide. The only negative was the bus had very poor A/C and this was end of June and extremely hot. It made the bus ride very uncomfortable.

The tour was really fun. Both venues had great views and we tried a fabulous variety of wines. The wines were also accompanied by very tasty meats and cheeses. It was an incredibly hot day but this excursion with air con and lovely views was definitely a memorable experience.

The guide was very good, whilst on the coach providing some details and background on the wineries we would be visiting and pointing out landmarks along the way. The 1st stop is at a beautiful family winery. They were very welcoming, and had prepared some, bread, meats and cheese. We sampled 5 wines, and a 3 olive oils all grown and produced locally by themselves. Well hosted and entertaining. Upmarket wines and prices. The 2nd winery was a little different, another family run business, felt more tour like being on a tour than the 1st stop. Again sampled 5 wines and an olive oil they produced. More reasonable priced wines. All in all a really good half day out, a great way to see some of the countryside and enjoy some local wines.

Beautiful views. You get to learn more about wine production. First vineyard was more slow production and the owner was a nice and humble gentleman. He also gave us some tips for Florence. Second vineyard beautiful but more commercial. The owner is more focused on promoting his wines than explaining and letting us enjoy the atmosphere.

First vineyard wasn't good but second one was fun

It was good but could be better. The first vineyard was the organic wine one run by the family. The family was pretty uptight and serious. The mother obviously wasn't kind or generous. One of us asked a slice of bread because the wine was getting us tipsy and offered to pay but the mother refused saying if we give you an extra slice we have to give everyone an extra slice. It spoilt the experience but also everyone was quite serious here. The second one was really fun and the guide here made many jokes which cheered everyone up
