I cannot say enough wonderful things about Runa Turismo! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well read about the places we visited and the history. We enjoyed our tour so much we scheduled another for the next day. Seeing the Lord of Sipan museum, Ventarron, Tucume, Eten, and other amazing places made our trip so wonderful. Runa was accommodating of our travel with an infant and our guide was patient whenever we needed to attend to the baby’s needs. He showed us many parts of archaeological sites that might otherwise be overlooked and even took some amazing photos of the birds and wildlife in the carob forest outside of Huaca de las Balsas. We learned so much and had an amazing adventure.
If you’re considering a tour, you should absolutely go with Runa, I can’t imagine that you’ll get a better experience elsewhere.

This tour far exceeded my expectations! Julio did an exceptional job catering for both the Spanish and English speakers and the museum was presented step by step as an intruging story. He wan tour of his way to involve, share and ensure everyone had a good time. If all tour guides were half as good as him, more tours would be exceptional like this was. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in ancient culture, rituals, artefacts and buildings.
