Tour with Andrea
April_H
, Jul 2022
Andrea is such a wonderful guide that I booked another trip with her for the following day. Immensely informative and keeps the group moving. Brugge was the best in my opinion. The buildings are charming and there's so much to see and do. The next time I'm in Belgium, I'll stay in Brugge instead of Brussels. Ghent was nice because it had a more Gothic feel to me. I would have been ok with just 30 minutes free time in Ghent after the walking tour instead of the hour we had. Honestly though, it was a wonderful and memorable tour. **Bring $12 Euros per person cash. You pay on the bus for the boat ride in Brugge.

This is an excellent tour. The group is not too big. We loved the earphone and radio so we could hear everything the guide was saying. I was able to wander off a bit and still hear where the group was going. Such great explanations of every part of the cities we visited.

Highly recommended this tour. My 10 year old son and I had the best time. Our tour guide Josephine was the best. Spoke good English, spoke slowly and engaged with everyone. Bruges was my favorite! 2 hours was not enough time. Well just enough to know I want to go back. The tour was so informative, lots of history! Highly recommend going and trying the Flemish beef stew. And the boat trip is a must do. Don’t skip out on it.

An Enjoyable experience even in the rain

The tour was great although it rained that day. I booked this with the hopes that we would have free time since it wasn’t mentioned on the details. I am glad it did. It was also an added bonus that the boat ride (optional) was “part” of the tour since we were led to the boat rental. Our tour guide Laura was calm and very patient with our group. She would check on us every so often to make sure that we are all ok. She was great in making a point to speak in English and in Spanish. Lastly, Philippe was an exceptional driver.

This was a fun tour, and our guide went out of her way to help us to fall in love with these two beautiful, ancient cities. I did! Especially with the sense of history she imparted to us. I’m glad I went. The add-on boat ride was lots of fun, and well worth the fee. The recommended lunch spot was good and at a great price, but you likely can do as well on your own, if not better. That said, it WAS nice to have that time to chat with others from our tour.

Magically Memorable

From start to finish, this tour was exceptionally well done. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable - a difficult combination to pull off during a day-long tour with multiple moving parts. Bruges and Ghent are incredibly beautiful cities, but they truly came alive because of our guide's expertise and humor. The transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the schedule for the day was manageable. If you are looking for a way to see both of these gorgeous cities and absorb as much of their history as you can in a day, then you will consider this tour to be time and money well spent!

frida_k
, Jun 2022
Brugges was beautiful and we could have enjoyed it more if our guide had slowed down walking down the streets and picked up more convenient meeting locations. She knew the history well, but she walked fast in between points without pausing to look behind to see if everyone was keeping up with her fast pace and the rain made walking even more difficult. She also picked a meeting point off the main center, so we spent a lot of time walking back to the center and had to allow time to walk back to the meeting point, which left us with less time in the areas that we could have enjoyed. I know this because I've been to Brugges before, but unfortunately, my husband and son didn't have the same experience as I did!
