Canal tour OK and pilot very nice and personable but his part of narration was too low in volume to hear or understand much of what was said.
      Just Perfect

Well organized and very interesting for a 3 day weekend. Van Gogh museum in the morning and the cruise end of day. That was perfect.

We were not thrilled. The description should have Indicated this was a no guide tour but a cheap way of combining two tickets. But you’re on you’re own. Not described well.

It's wasn't super busy when we went and you could appreciate the art for quite awhile. I like that they had information about his life and also examples of art that inspired him.
      Cruising to Van Gogh
      , Jul 2021
It was amazing to see his paintings, as well as the paintings of other artists that gave him inspiration. Being able to read his letters to his close family and friends gives great insight to his inner turmoil, as well as how much he loved them. Definitely worth the trip. The cruise was informative as well and very relaxing after a long day of traveling around and sightseeing.

Could not make the trip due to virus restrictions, was unable to cancel 3 months ago... travel to the Netherlands is still restricted and we forfeited our tickets for yesterday’s admission...

Van Gogh museum excellent. Skip the tour guide on the boat trip.
      , Mar 2020
Difficult to rate. We loved the Van Gogh Museum and that alone would be worth five stars! It's well organised with excellent guided options. Staff are helpful and well informed. It was incredible to see his work and listen to the letter exchanges between family members. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the boat tour. The experience was totally ruined by the lame duck, sexist and racist jokes the tour guide on our boat made the entire duration of the trip. (The recorded info you could listen to on headphones, was informative.) Spend your money on the museum and see the beautiful sites on foot or by bike!

Van Gogh plus canal tour perfect day
      , Jan 2020
Make sure you get the headphones for the tour of the Van Gogh museum. There is even a one hour highlights tour. I thought we had to get to the canal tour at an exact time but it didn’t matter what time we got there In fact you can do other things on the way if you wanted. We took the tram to central station (the 2 or 12) which was right in front of the Van Gogh museum. You can buy a ticket right on the tram and for 8 euro u can even buy a day pass and we used it all day on and off. The canal tour was very nice and it’s good that it is all inside because it was freezing out. We waited until the next boat left so we could have a window seat. The line moves quickly and efficiently You can make these two excursions take as much time in between so don’t feel like you must run straight to the canal tours like we did!

      Van Gogh Museum is great...
      , Jan 2020
The museum is worth the entrance. The problem is the Canal cruise is not quite near the Museum. When we got to the place we got into a very long line to take the cruise that was more than an hour., it was already dark when we jump into the cruise, it enclosed, you cant really take good picture. So, the canal cruise is not really worth it.
