FIRST time in Florence? Don’t you know where to start? Join our free tour! We’ll show you the main HIGHTLIGHTS of this beautiful city and make you travel into the RENAISSANCE times and the intrigues of one of the most powerful and influent families of history: the MEDICI. All in a funny and easy-going way. We’ll also give you all the tips (what to visit, to taste ...) you need to take the most of the city and ENJOY it to the fullest! “Ok ok, that seems very cool... but who are you??” If you’re wondering this, it means that you’re so curious... and we love it! We’re a group of local friends and also official tour guides of Florence, although we’d rather introduce ourselves as STORYTELLERS! That’s why we chose “Tour-TALE” as our name. We love to tell stories to the people and make them travel throughout the past as it was a tale. We love traveling too and we’ve also been tourists, so we try to give you the kind of visit we’d like to find: clear and with a good balance between information, curiosities and funny anecdotes. With no stress, just relaxing and enjoying your holidays, while learning curiosities that you can explain when you go back home! Our aim is that you to finish our tour with a smile and give you the best memory possible of your trip. Are you ready? As the human brain starts getting tired after a while (if you don’t, then you’re a superhuman and we admire you so much), we’ve set the length of this tour in 2 hours. That’s enough to cover the main attractions of this city.

* A traveler said: "This was an amazing tour and an excellent way to get a 'taste' of Florence and Italy. Starting with coffee and pastry, the tour progressed through the morning culminating with a wine tasting and charcuterie at lunchtime. Each stop was filled with wonderful information about Where the food came from, how it was grown/created, how the locals enjoy it, and of course, a tasting. I was amazed at the number of stops we made and the variety of items we were able to sample. At several points along the trip I was able to purchase small quantities of various items from the local vendors to take home which we found delightful. Our Tourguide, Benna, was very informed, but easy to talk to. It felt more like a day with a friend as she explained different customs and cultural aspects of the food. She is not only great at giving the food tour, but she also provided much history as we meandered through the city. I would strongly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Florence as a way to learn some history and live 'like a local' for a bit. By the way, all the food was delicious and the tour helped us make our selections at various subsequent meals. We were also given some recipes to try at home as well. An excellent morning."
