The Basics

Take an audio-visual tour of the museum to learn about Archimedes’ life, then visit different thematic areas and see replicas of the inventor’s work, from catapults to water pumps to machinery that was once used to defend the city of Syracuse. In addition to exploring the exhibits, you can also play a virtual reality game that takes you back in time to a siege and lets you use the tools created by Archimede to help defend the city.
