How to get there

Bene Beach is on the northeastern part of Marjan, the noticeable hill on the peninsula of Split. Cars are not allowed in Marjan Forest Park so plan to park outside the park and walk to the beach. Alternatively, take bus 12 from Riva, which is allowed in the park, and you’ll get dropped off right in front of the beach.

When to get there

Less crowded than the main city beaches in Split, Bene Beach can still get busy in July and August. Arrive early in the day to secure a spot on the beach or avoid the crowds in general by visiting in May and June or September and October. The beach is popular with the locals so avoid weekends if you can.
