Podgorica to Zabljak

Panoramic road along the lakes, through small picturesque villages, through the black pine forest whose grandiose trees, up to 50 m in height, withstand a full 400 years we will reach the highest inhabited town on the Balkans, Zabljak. Well known as the "Montenegrin eyes" the Black Lake is the biggest and the most beautiful of 17 lakes in the Durmitor National Park. A short walk to the lake and maybe moderate hiking along the marked trails and snacks in the bar on the shore, will give you pleasure and refreshment for the whole day. After the break, we continue, giving Durmitor a chance to convince us that its beauty is not over. Tara river has the deepest canyon in Europe. The Đurđevića Tara Bridge provides a unique view of the fast river and the surrounding nature. Let's not forget to mention the Zip Line- the most beautiful view of the bridge if you dare to "fly" from one side to the other.(not included) On the way back - panoramic ride on the edge of the Morača River Canyon.

In Montenegro, it’s all about wild beauty and the wildest part of it lies on the brink of Tara river canyon. Tara river has the deepest canyon in Europe, but in this part of Montenegro it’s famous for rafting. Tara rapids offer so much fun which makes it impossible not to express your feelings. When we’re all set, we get on the raft and start our adventure. The ride is 2 hours long. But you have at least one stop to have some refreshments on the bank of the river, under the covers of untouched nature. And there is a waterfall nearby for the best photos. With rafting in books, we are going to do zip line by one of the most beautiful bridges Djurdjevica Tara bridge. Of course, the best view is while you are "flighting" from one to the another side of the canyon. We leave the canyon with a lot of photo stops along the panoramic road and the wild beauty of Montenegro follows us through the Morača canyon, all the way to Podgorica city.

In this tour we will visit one of the most distant villages in Montenegro- Mala Crna Gora, the village at the highest altitude in Montenegro, which is largely snowed most of the year. Then we descend into the canyon Sušica, where is Sušica lake, and there is also a mountain lodge. We continue the trip by jeeps to the village Nedajno and then over Piva mountain continue to the village Trsa. So, we'll make the ring around Durmitor, and on this occasion we will enjoy the view of the Valovito, Modro and Pošćensko lake. We'll also enjoy in the view of Prutaš, which is one of the highest peaks of Montenegro, whose conquest is a real pleasure (2 393 m). Also, we'll see Bobotov kuk, the highest peak of Durmitor, at 2 523 m. We must take pictures of that beautiful scenes. Over Sedlo we descend on Jezerska plateau and the ski center Savin kuk. After that we are coming to Zabljak. Of course in lunch time we are gonna enjoy in the taste of national cuisine.

Daily excursion to visit one of the most beautiful places in the north of Montenegro is unique experience. Tour starts from your hotel and heading first to Ostrog Monastery, which is one of Montenegrin wonders and most visited monastery of our Orthodox Church. Later we continue to Piva lake, which is a dam and unique by its colour. Here you can have short walk and coffee break. After break we are going to Durmitor national park to visit Black Lake and have a lunch break. After this we are going to visit bridge on Đurđevića Tara, which is built in 1937. and it is still one of the highest bridges in World. There is also ZIPLINE over Tara canyon for these who love adrenaline. Later we are going trough the Tara canyon to Biogradska gora national park to see Biogradsko lake and have break for drink. Last attraction is Canyon Morača and Morača Monastery from 13th century, unique by its historical value. From this place we have 1 hour back to hotel. Whole trip is 350 km - about 8 - 9 Hours.

Durmitor is a mountain and national park in Montenegro. It is believed that the name Durmitor originates from the Celtic word that means "a mountain full of water ". Durmitor, which, by its beauty and integrity, is a rare and authentic part of nature, was declared a national park in 1952. Bobotov kuk 2.523 meters high is the highest peak of Durmitor mountain massif. It is also the highest peak of Montenegro.
