Theatre of Epidaurus

Excellent excursion to Mycenae and Epidaurus.Socrates was brilliant conversational company and very informative in the car. Very enjoyable!

I really wanted to see Epidaurus and it was a bit too challenging to do it on the bus system -- it's far and there isn't a lot of information. I tried to organize this alone and I wasted a of time. Landing in this small semi-private tour was a godsend. The guide, Gary was amazing! So was the driver and the local guide at Epidaurus. Even though other sites were closed, we were able to learn so much on the tour and we even had a fabulous meal in a lovely restaurant in Nafplion. Also, a big thanks to the guest services agent at Viator, Damir, for getting us into the tour. It was a really terrific day.

This was an excellent day, the vehicle was comfortable and air conditioned and the driver was safe and helpful. Patroula the guide at both sites was very informative and pleasant. Nafpoli where we had a 1.5 hour lunch stop is lovely and I would like to spend more time there. There is some uphill walking, mainly at Mycenae as climbing to the top of the theatre at Epidaurus is not necessary in order to view it - Mycenae is at the top of a hill.

We spent the entire day on the most mesmerizing visit of Bronze Age, Classical, and Modern Greece sites. Our driver, Terry, was terrific and set the stage with expert renderings of what we would see that day as well as discussions of several aspects of Greek society. Patty, our local guide, gave us all we could have hoped for in our wildest dreams and kept us spellbound with her knowledge of the historical sites. Time wise, the day was long, but flew by in terms of the wonderful experiences. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to our closest friends and family.
