The Basics
Kids Plaza Osaka is divided into themed floors. The Discovery Floor includes a large nature exhibit, a science area with fun experiments, a role-playing TV studio, a section where kids can explore different cultures, and even a society section where they can experience what it’s like to be in a wheelchair. The Adventure Floor has a large multilevel play area complete with climbing walls, and on the Creativity Floor, arts and crafts and digital activities encourage creativity and imagination.

How to Get There
Kids Plaza Osaka is located in the Kita district. By metro, take the Sakaisuji line to Ogimachi station or the JR Loop line to Temma station. Those driving should take either the Ogimachi exit or the Minamimorimachi exit, depending on which direction they are coming from.

When to Get There
Kids Plaza Osaka is open daily, with extended hours on weekends. The museum is closed on the second and third Monday of each month, as well as certain holidays. It can get crowded with children visiting on school trips, which tend to be around late morning to early afternoon, so visit at other times for a quieter experience.
Ogimachi Park Playground
Located inside Ogimachi Park, right next to Kids Plaza Osaka, Ogimachi Park Playground is a huge playground with a number of fun features, including a large climbing wall, a great selection of slides, swings, sand pits, and a large open space to run around in. There’s even an indoor and outdoor pool.
