I'm a professional truffle hunter from 3 generations in Alba. My grandfather after the 2nd world war was one of the first truffle hunters, he taught my father all the secrets about the precious "ipogean fungus" then my father taught it to me. I'm a dog trainer and actually I've got 3 great dogs: Lisa, Palli & Isi. I would like to teach "some'' of my truffle hunting secrets to travelers. During the tour you will be helped by my friend Margherita. She's an official tourist guide with great passion for truffles and local culture, translating every part of the hunting.

Than you can feel and see the verve and enthusiasm of the truffle hunter and his dog when they individuate and take it out of the ground, being careful for not to damage the truffle and the ground around it.

Truffle hunting Asti is an unmissable experience, during your holiday in Piedmont, Italy, allow yourself a few days to visit Asti and its surroundings, in fact the historic center of Asti is rich in historical monuments, churches and cathedrals. The experience lasts about two hours. The recommended times are from 9.00 to 11.00, especially during the summer, and from 17 to 19.00 even in winter. For safety reasons, the hottest hours of the day are strongly discouraged.
