PortAventura Park
The Basics
PortAventura is divided into six “lands” themed after regions of the world. Ticket options are flexible, starting from a basic single-day admission ticket to a single park and extending to multi-day tickets with included admission to all three PortAventura World parks. Park goers can upgrade their experience with an Express Pass, which gives quicker access to some of the park’s most popular attractions (and translates to less time spent standing in lines). Visitors based in Barcelona can combine park entrance with round-trip transportation to the parks for a hassle-free and family-friendly day trip.

Things to Know Before You Go
PortAventura Park is a must-visit for families and thrill seekers.
Lockers are available for rent at both PortAventura Park and Caribe Aquatic Park.
The park and many of its attractions are wheelchair-accessible. Pick up a guide at the ticket office.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat, even in winter.
How to Get There
PortAventura Park is situated east of Barcelona along the A-7. The Rodalies de Catalunya (line R-16) commuter rail service stops at PortAventura World, as do several direct buses from Barcelona. The park is located about an hour away from Barcelona’s El Prat Airport.
When to Get There
PortAventura Park is open from April to late November, with select dates in December and January. Hours vary by season and day of the week, so it’s a good idea to check before your visit. Expect long queues in July and August and on Spanish national holidays.
Special Events at PortAventura Park
PortAventura Park is particularly popular for its special events hosted throughout the year. On select evenings during the summer, the park stays open late for White Nights, featuring unique shows and a parade. Celebrate Halloween at the park from late September to mid-November, or come for sparkling lights and other festive holiday surprises between late November and early January.
